Right on Time Parent

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when a participating school or childcare organization uses Right on Time.

Who is responsible for your information

NEXUS IT CONSULTING LLC provides the Right on Time platform. The school or childcare organization that invited you controls its family, attendance, authorization, and trip records. Contact that organization first to correct an operational record or resolve an immediate child-release concern.

Questions about the platform or this policy may be sent to info@nexusitconsultants.com.

Information the service may process

  • Guardian identity and contact details, relationships, authorization status, and optional profile photographs.
  • Child names, enrollment or classroom details, authorized guardians, optional photographs, attendance, drop-off, pickup, and trip records.
  • Information a participating organization records for safety or trip planning, which may include emergency contacts and medical notes.
  • Invitation, account, device-binding, rotating credential, announcement, consent, and electronic-signature information.
  • Security and operational records such as timestamps, IP address, browser or device information, and actions recorded in the audit log.
  • Photos or files you deliberately select or capture for submission. The Parent Android app does not request broad access to your photo library.
  • When you expressly choose to share an arrival estimate, the Parent app uses foreground location on your device to calculate a rounded ETA. Your coordinates are not sent to or stored by Right on Time, and the app does not track location in the background. You may send an on-the-way notice without an ETA.

Why information is used

  • Provide invited account access, family communication, rotating passes, arrival notices, and drop-off or pickup workflows.
  • Support organization-managed guardian authorization, field-trip permissions, safety reviews, and operational reporting.
  • Detect misuse, investigate incidents, maintain audit evidence, troubleshoot failures, and protect accounts and services.
  • Meet contractual, legal, safety, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to Nexus or the participating organization.

Service providers and disclosure

Information is available to authorized users of the participating organization according to their assigned roles. Nexus may use infrastructure, database, email-delivery, and application-distribution providers to operate the service. Those providers process information for their contracted service functions.

Right on Time does not sell personal information and does not contain advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect a child or another person, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of an authorized business transition with appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, safety, contractual, legal, and organization-directed recordkeeping purposes. Different records may require different retention periods. Deletion requests may not erase records that must be preserved for child safety, consent evidence, audits, dispute resolution, or law.

Visit the account and data deletion page to request review of an account and associated information.

Security, children, and your choices

Nexus uses access controls, encrypted network transport, audit records, and other administrative and technical safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not forward invitation links or rotating credentials, and report a lost device or suspected misuse promptly.

The Parent app is intended for authorized adult guardians, not for independent use by children. Guardians may request access, correction, or deletion review by contacting their participating organization or Nexus. Privacy rights vary by location, and identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
